Our
church school is the cooperative effort of parents, the Religious Education
Committee, and the congregation. The Rev. Elz Curtiss is our Director of
Religious Education. |
Our purpose is to provide a Unitarian Universalist religious education for children and youth. We emphasize Jewish and Christian traditions in our curriculum, introduce the world religions, and teach forms of worship. |
Classes meet Sundays from September to June. |
Classes are offered for preschool, elementary, and junior high school children from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon. A short children's chapel service is held before classes for prayer and worship. Several times a year, children participate in part or all of the Sunday worship service in the sanctuary. |
High school youth meet occasionally for community service projects or social events. |
Nursery care is available every Sunday. Parents and/or sitters share caring for babies and toddlers during all worship services. |
